Why in the world do we keep bringing up starters and using them as relievers?

He was way over-amped at first, overthrowing.  Settled down and looked good to the last few batters.

When they showed his family later looked like his mom had departed, couldn't bear the performance.   :?

Because most of them can’t cut it as starters, and maybe more importantly they have options and this staff is comfortable churning through relievers. I don’t mind it so far.

Jacob Young has had some bad luck outs. What a year he’s baking at the plate

That's all good, but give them a few weeks relief experience in the minors before calling them up.

Let the guy start.   He’s a starter.   We have three absolute bums starting, including one tonight

Little late in the comment but I thought it was super Tacky interviewing Cornelio’s family while he first pitching. Let them watch their kid and enjoy it. Mom was definitely an attention whore though.

My mom would have been like “Shut up. My boy is pitching. Talk to you after”
