Come on, Luis. You are a .260 hitter, year after year. Show us!

He was showing us the .740 part.

So, let Alvarez pitch to Chapman, Devers, and maybe Scmitt, or go to Lord or Beeter for that stretch? Right, left, right.

Why is there a DH with a .602 OPS?

Did Garcia same someone's life and we don't know about it?

Todd Boss has been beating the drum for Alvarez to get a chance at the rotation since last September. He's argued that the Nats shouldn't waste time on so many vet filler free agents. Didn't like any of Griffin, Mikolas, or Littell. He's going to be in I told you so mode

It's Ramos, Gilbert, Bailey for the 9th, followed by Adames. I might give Beeter the 9th.

I guess more rest for Beeter and Lord it will be.  Lord available to back up tomorrow 's starter

seriously, I would think about starting Alvarez and using Mikolas and Parker as the long guys. Let's you  use Lord more in higher leverage short stints.
