This team needs some serious coaching on base running and reacting to the ball

On the other hand our pitchers fielded their position pretty well for a change.  Compare to the Brewers  :clown: show.

Horrible half inning for Millas.  Didn't go after the wild pitch third strike, a doofus challenge that wasn't even close, etc.

Impressed by the team so far, though.  Most hope I've had in years.

They are still making a lot of mistakes but they are much improved in other ways.  Yes, there is hope.  Love that they have some enthusiasm.

As I said, not until the final out...

Grifiin and Lord looking like our best tandem - and 'thanks', Brewers, for all the gifts... ;)

A sweep sure would be nice. And congrats Chief on the first GDT win!

Not to seem overly critical, but he was a little rusty on posting the  :w:

Obviously we could all use more practice.

So before the thread gets closed, back to the wild pitch Beeter threw to Yelich on which Yelich advanced to 2nd on what was called a strikeout.

Upon further review I'm pretty sure this is what happened.

Obviously the pitch had "ball" location.  Millas stood up and turned away from the field looking for the ball, casually.  The home plate ump immediately pointed at the 3rd base ump, who immediately signaled a strike as Yelich failed to check his swing.  Millas was clueless as to the 3rd base ump's call, and he wasn't the only one.

Start at about 9:28
