I fear we've seen enough permanently of Perez

You could say that about most anyone on this roster...

This reminds me of late 2005 when the MLB didn't allow the Nats to acquire players to backfill for injuries. Except now it is self inflicted. It is inexcusable for an organization to be unwilling to spend the minimal.amount of money it takes to get a major league caliber relief pitcher.

how long can you have these gutting blow ups and expect it not to ripple down to your lineup and your starters? You get a good if lucky  performance out of Griffin, then you have Cavalli's last start in Philly, and you toss in the 2 prior games when the bullpen couldn't stop the bleeding, at some point it's got to hurt attitude

don't worry, we managed to find the one highly touted Dodger catching prospect who flopped.

Exactly. I was hoping with Rizzo gone that a new person would actually care about relief pitching. Hopefully, finally being done with the Dodgers will help. But regardless of how good the Dodgers are, the pitching performances have been awful.

Rizzo usually found better relief pitchers than these dopes. Scraped off waivers, yes, but better.
