That’s a very good question. 0–2 count after throwing two up-n-in two-seamers right past the hitter, yet Henry is  gonna speed up the hitter’s bat with a hanging slider in the middle of the FREAKING plate??? 🤯
My guess would be Henry isn’t smart enough to understand that that slider should’ve been either in the dirt or off the outer edge of the plate. Sometimes you have to draw pictures for dumbazzez (call pitches and location) or just eventually get rid of them.
If I were a reporter, I would’ve asked the head coach who called that pitch and why was the location in the middle of the plate? Hopefully these young buck coaches will figure it out and make the necessary adjustments.
I’m thrilled with the start of the season, but it would’ve been really nice bringing that victory back for the home opener. Brutal frustrating loss especially to the Philthies of all teams!!! 😵‍💫 We’ll just have to give them a payback next time I guess.

Yeah I don’t care. This all goes back to ownership being cheap. There’s no excuse for simply not having a closer. It’s going to be another long season of agonizing losses because these dummies won’t sell the team.

Amen to that. I think I've said this a few days ago in another thread, this team would actually be decent (.500ish after 162) had we added MLB-proven players to the bullpen/1B etc this past Winter. Although Weimer's first few games were phenomal, I think we all know that that was a very small sample size and that he'll probably regress to below 1 bWAR after it's all said and done in 2026.
