Frandsen is talking like he went to college with all the parties and Kolko is like “Well, according to my notes”

Not that there is anything wrong with it, but Kolko doesn’t exude a deep passion/love for the game and Frandsen is talking like he’s in a clubhouse and not a broadcast booth.
Kolko has always done a solid job as a studio or sideline guy. Never really worked for me in the booth. His content is fine, but it just seems off.

Luis Garcia doesn’t seem comfortable at 1B.

Haven’t watched many live games since 2020, but am I wrong in feeling that the Nats broadcast with Kolko and Frandsen seems Slow and Bro compared to FP and Carp?

this is spot on i never thought i’d miss Bob and FP

Like every woman in my life, you spend years looking for an upgrade before you realize what you lost. I wonder if Bob and FP came in under anything other than a MASN agreement we’d not have had such an opinion of them.

Nats blew it with their ABS challenges tonight. There have been two or three strike calls this inning that would’ve been overturned for sure.

Let’s win the series tomorrow.

no question. Butera needs to start saying to some guys you don't get to make the 2nd challenge this at bat in the early innings no matter how bad you think  it is.

Baseball is a stat nerd Orgy, it will be fun to see the numbers on the players with the best challenge win/loss ratio and how that contributes to positive or negative outcomes in a game and find a way to quantify that across other metrics.

FP klnd of played his way out of here with some stuff. Bob I think people miss. Average announcer, great guy, so respected.

Marvin Hudson is coming for Joe West’s crown of bad calls and belt of girth.

I think he should start smoking.   Getting rid of his squeaky, young voice.   Adding a little raspiness and character would help.  He could get better with age.  He works hard and has been part of the Nats family for a long time now.

Damn, it would have been nice to see if Hudson changed his strike zone in the 10th when the Nats got an extra challenge.
