Milas gets moved to the 40 day roster.

Another move is coming. Herz's 30 days is up soon. It would be really nice to slot Herz into the rotation and push Dion to the back of the bullpen.

We had one slot on the 40, so we only need to clear one slot. They could move Milas to the 60 day.

Millas is retro to 7/12. They would have to keep him  out 2 more weeks.  He caught a bullpen and is hitting batting practice, so it sounds like he's going to be ready before the end of the year. They may want 3 catchers on the 40 man over the offseason. Figure that Millas slot is needed for him or Romero. IDK if Adams would be a free agent if he's not added back.

Do you mean the 60 day IL or the active roster?  He has been on the 40 man roster

Nats promoting LHP Jared Simpson as the 2nd call-up. 8th round pick in 2025. Has dominated across AA and AAA this year.

Throws  4 seam & sinker in the 94+ mph range 36% and 25% of the time, a change avergaing 85.4 mph another 28%, and slider at 83.3 10% of the time.

Over 58.2 IP at 2 levels, a High K% (29%) and a  High BB% (15%). Numbers were slightly better at AAA in 19 IP.

VEry heavy on groundballs - 57.5%. Doesn't give up many flies -  <20%, with a % of his flies either infield pops (40%) or going out (15 HR/FB%).

i'd think Adams is done after this season. More than likely Ford heads back to AAA but we'll see.

I think that Tolman's and Simpson's recent performance, plus Dion, kind of gives the Nats 3 lefty relievers ahead of Cosgrove. If you are looking for multiple innings, then Cornelio is  a better option than Cosgrove. I  hope Riley is here for this bullpen game.

Well  I thought about repeating what a previous poster contributed stating he thought management wanted to keep Kranick for 2027 but after the last inning they can RELEASE his sorry ass. No need to keep him in the organization.

EDIT: 1.1innings 5 runs so far with 2 runners on base.

the problem in terms of the roster is Kranick is out of options, so if you call up a replacement, you have to release him. To me, I would say "see ya," but I think they may want to keep him around for 2027.

RHP Jack Sinclair called up for his MLB debut

Sinker / slider guy. They flipped him from being 50% sinker, 30% slider to 50% slider ~25% sinker this year. Maybe  that's a sweeper? Added a 4 seam that he throws  15%. The fastballs average 95-97, and has  a change at 87 that he uses 7%.

28 K%, 12 BB%, 10 HR/FB%, big bump in GB% this year from high 30%s to 48%.
