Anyone have a suggestion for the date of this year's M&G?

Bad weather, a crappy team, and general apathy have diminished attendance of late.

Regardless, I still think it's worth giving this at least one more shot before we consider saying to hell with it...

If the mods would, please pin this...

We lacked numbers last year but the quality was outstanding.

We've tended to go late in the season and run into September rain. I don't know if May / June might be better? Feel free to weigh in

The weather is a crapshoot no matter when. You could try early in the season and then have September as a fallback if it rains in May.

Nothing's been announced this year, but it was 27 Sep 2025.

Iggy Pop, the Damned, Jack White, Johnny Marr, Lunachicks, and host of others playing in some industrial wasteland in Brooklyn...not to throw shade on a Nats/White Sox game with 196 combined losses, but geezer rock won the day. Will try to make it this year

I'm gonna suggest September 12th against the Angels...

In keeping with our late summer dates, this gives us a team we don't see all the time, AND, as an added bonus, we get to see 2019 World Champion Kurt Suzuki...unless the Halos fire him before the end of the season...

Not sure why, but the RCR points redemption for free game tickets seems to be a much better deal this year...

If anyone would like 1 or 2 free tickets to the WNFF M&G - currently set for September 12th - please let me know so that I can set up a FCFS list...

really? I haven't sent points yet. They came to 5 per ticket on my plan, so, doing some math, it takes 10 purchased to get the cheapest RCR seat. That's 8 pair for my entire group. They do add points for other things like using the tix, but I don't think it will be more than the base points. I could be wrong about that.

I thought I got points from you back in April...

...either that, or I have a fairy godmother. Either way, I'm not complaining...and perhaps even more reason to cash-in on some seats pronto...well, on August 13th anyway...
