They got old.
Actually Harper and Schwarber are the only ones hitting.  And the starting pitchers are not old other than Nola. It's really the failure of guys like Stott and Bohm.  Although you can lump in JTR and Trea so far.  Also they are way last in BABIP for the opponents.  .365 so far as a team.  So that will probably change a bit.  .395 for Luzardo.

So I'm sticking with bad juju.

Need Gritty to pay a visit to CBP.

Mets actually swept in a DH (and the series) today by the Rockies. They and Phillies are in total free fall mode.

I’m starting to think Harper might not bring a championship to Philadelphia

Pretty funny, considering that like a week ago, only two teams in baseball were under .500

Mattingly in.   At least for this year.  Some speculation they will go after Cora.

Nightengale reporting Cora turned down the job.  The old spend more time with the family excuse.

Nobody called Davey?

First time a son, as GM, as hired his father to manage.

And he knows better than to name him as the long term manager.  :hysterical:

My impression was Mattingly didn’t really want to manage anymore.

Robbie Snelling, who just got his 1st start vs the Nats in Miami, has a sprained UCL.

Nats holding second place in NLE, a game above the Phillies and Marlins.
