Phillies handled the Nats OK. But for that, it's been a rough start.

Braves weren't sunk by their pitching injuries. AA's done a nice job. Last year was the fluke.

Their offense is brutal. Only 16 home runs,12 of which were solo shots. They have four regulars that have OBP at or below .250 . It’s as if they made a deal with the devil to bat Skenes around on opening day.

Mets spent big to add Luis Robert (.243 / .700 OPS) and Bo Bichette. rated at -.4 WAR. So far, got nothing. Lindor is not yet producing, either. Soto was their leading hitter. Still time to turn it around. Nats series might be a serious showdown.
