Unless they throw him on short rest in Sunday, no. That's their last game before ASB. His next chance to pitch on 4+ days of rest would he the 17th. Even if they give him a simulated game during the ASB, hes probably only getting to 50 pitches during that start. Figure he will need at least one more after that. Unless they're going to use him as a reliever.

Remember that Williams was a very effective reliever for a couple of years when he was with the Mets. He came here because we said we"d use him as a starter. I could see trying to bring him back as a bullpen vet

I really think they'd be missing an easy plug for the leaky bullpen if they didn't look at him. Should even add a little velo, which would be enormous for him.

My guess is Yean gets called back up. No need to wait 15 days if it is to replace an IL player. Schultz and Varland are also possibilities.

Lord last pitched Sunday. I assume he'll be back dated 3 days, or to 7/6, making him eligible to return during the second series after the ASB (Colorado).

Irvin threw a 30 pitch sim game Wednesday.  Next steps are to pitch about 3 rehab starts if he recovered ok.

Trevor Williams threw 2 innings, striking out 5. No clue about pitch counts.

Threw 2.2 innings on July 8. They seem to be doing this very slowly, but also keeping him on a 5 day starter routine.
