Trevor Williams posted an update on Instagram:
Quote
❝I am closer than ever to getting back out onto the mound at Nationals Park — and I cannot wait. The vibe around the stadium during games this season has been palpable and know that it fuels our team. I am so proud of our guys.  Better. Closer. Warmer. -JMJ-  ❞

Could Trevor Williams be any worse than Mikolas? It's hard to remember him pitching...so long ago.

With how they have used and fixed Mikolas and Littell, no. He could actually be better.

That's what I think. If they can make Littell seem mediocre, and even get some use from Mikolas, maybe even Williams.

Yes.  Much worse.   And he’s a scumbag.   Don’t want to see him throw another pitch

He's just mad because they fired Hudson yesterday...

Me?   Glad that nut is gone.

Butera says Crews' hand swelled up Saturday night. Available off the bench or to play defense. Considered day-to-day

Williams threw in a simulated game today at Nats park. Could be close to a rehab assignment.  Faced Tena and Chaparro twice, Tena homered.

Not surprising that Tena homered. Williams cannot get anyone out. Worse than Mikolas.

if Irvin isn't ready, then it's easy to slot him in. It's just they are running out of openers for the old guys

So Griffin was pulled after 5 last night when his back started to tighten. Says he's  good today.

Per Zuck, Gray continues to throw but hasn't thrown off a mound yet.

Maybe Gray can add two more pitches, and think and pitch like Griffen. Oh, how good to get rid of Mikolas.

Gray needs to throw off a mound first
