White Sox rookie Sam Antonacci became the 11th player to be hit by a pitch twice in one inning against the Giants last night. Antonacci now tied for most HBP in all of MLB with another rookie, JJ Wetherholt of the Cardinals.
The last MLB player to manage this rare fear, rarer than a perfect game? CJ Abrams who did it against Arizona in 2025. Abrams was actually hit by a third pitch in a different inning of that same game. Nobody has ever been HBP three times in one inning.
