Kind of like the SaddleDome hockey arena. Calgary?

It make me think of a cross between the LA Forum (columned exterior) and the old Capital Centre (Pringles-shaped roof, which I suppose you also see at the Saddledome).

One of my high school math teachers said the Capital Centre's roof was a "hyperbolic paraboloid."

I like  that the low point is aligned with east Capitol so the Capitol Dome will be visible  from across the river.

Kind of looks a bit like a modern version of RFK to me.

Nice. You take one look at that and you know what city it's in.

Pity the left side couldn't have been given more room to breathe - looks a bit 'hemmed-in'

Penned-in. That’s where the current DC jail resides.

Some really cool features in the new stadium to tie it to RFK. It will sit on the same foundation and the field will be in the identical spot.

So this makes it RFK Jr. then, right? :couch:

Per Schefter: Commanders hiring Vikings' d-backs coach Deronte Jones as their new DC.

To no one's surprise, Dan Snyder is in the Epstein Files

Harris too. He issued a statement saying his only involvement with Epstein was trying to keep him from working with Apollo.

So, what are the Commies looking for? If it's D, they can get an Ohio State guy

One of the worst picks in history with Rueben Bain and Francis Mauigoa on the board.

I don’t follow closely but Kiper had him as the 4th best guy in the draft

It reminds me of when we took a guard fifth. ILB is one of the lowest paid position in football- way to waste the advantage of a rookie contract

You are absolutely insane.   Styles is the best player in this draft.   Best pick this franchise has made in forever

The Commanders still had a horrible defense again last season, so the speculation that they would take a wide receiver as their first pick in the draft sounded idiotic to me. Fortunately, someone else took him.

The team has proven that their two quarterbacks can throw the ball to just about anyone. FIX THE DEFENSE!!!

i think Love going as high as he did left more defensive players on the board. The CB going at 6 also simplified things.
