Verizon Fios shows the Nationals channel as "sign off" while the game in Pilly is in the 3rd.  What's up with that.  Is there a blackout of the games in Philly.
I won't be able to actually receive Nats TV until tomorrow when Verizon does their magic, but I have noticed that my TV guide shows Live when a game is being aired.

I'm enjoying the experience of Nationals.tv.   I get the free mlb.tv on Tmobile, so it's very nice to have all the game including the Nats in one place for $99 a year and no cable or cable like package.

Picture is a good bit better than MASN days, and MLB.tv app works great with lots of features.

I saw the same thing on Fios in DC, but when I clicked on it, the game was airing live. They really seem to be struggling with multiple aspects of this rollout.

Hallelujah!  I've got Nat's TV!  and all Verizon had to do was connect an ethernet cable from the white tower to the fiberoptic box behind the TV.  Why they didn't do that a year ago when fiberoptic was installed boggles the mind.  I even have the MLB network.  Enjoy the game.

A bunch of Gray Media-owned TV stations will be carrying these games over the air in Virginia and North Carolina as well: https://www.mlb.com/nationals/schedule/programming

I've got Verizon fios and can't get channel 579, it says:

You are not subscribed to channel 579. Press OK for subscription options.

I hit OK, and this message comes up:

Sorry, we are unable to process your request at this time.  Please try again later or call 1(800)Verizon or visit http://www.verizon.com/fiostvcentra

So followed the http address but this led nowhere.  Anybody found a path through this morass?

You can call Verizon and upgrade your plan, typically around $23 a month, or you can buy nationals.tv for $99. Verizon moved nationals.tv to the same tier that includes Monumental. It is no longer available on the lower tier that still includes MASN.

So I used the Roku we have on one TV to load the MLB app, then buy the Nationals.  Then, discovered our outside porch TV was a "smart" TV so added the MLB app there and just logged in.  A little convoluted that I can't just grab channel 579 but I'll get used to it.

I haven't compared it to the Gameday app, but in any case it is a vast improvement over the MASN app delay. MASN used to be a minute behind real time. The radio broadcast via Amazon Alexa is 10-15 seconds behind real time, allowing me to easily pause Nats.TV and let the radio catch up.
