DirecTV did do a channel update overnight and 641 is there.  They only have the games out through Sunday, but it is there in all its glory.  Less than 12 hours before game time of course.

Looks like FiOS nationals.tv will require an upgrade to the same tier that includes monumental. It is not included in the same tier that currently includes MASN.

MLB seems to have dropped the ball when it comes to authenticating pay TV credentials to stream the games.

That's weird because I can view commercials on Monumental (576) but 579 isn't included in my package despite the TV telling me yesterday that 579 was included n my package and it instructed me to reset the set-top box.

I'm following the FiOS thread on Reddit (https://www.reddit.com/r/Nationals/comments/1s487vw/hey_fios_customers_what_are_you_seeing_for_nats_tv/), sounds like everyone else is in the same boat - must upgrade to "the most" package for another $52 a month to get Nationals.tv (it also gives you monumental).

I have a really old Verizon package, at this point i'm going to just pull the plug on FiOS and buy nationals.tv + YouTube TV.

FWIW per this https://www.reddit.com/r/Nationals/comments/1s4bin9/verizon_fios/ Verizon is having an issue with enabling nationals.tv that they expect will be fixed by Monday. They intend to make it available to those who currently have MASN, so no need to upgrade. Today's game is available supposed to be available on the FiOS app but i'm still getting a 'not subscribed' message.

Doesn't seem like mlb.com has enable sign-on with a local cable provider.

Last year on DirecTV, Marquee was not blacked out, at least not all of the time.  You might be able to watch the Cubs broadcast at least, assuming you get Marquee.

Again, it shouldn't be this hard to watch a baseball game.  MLB should not have waited until the last minute to get the carriage agreements sewn up.

Amazing that’s easier to watch as an out of towner.  Just plunk down $150 for the season and almost all the games.

Somebody really blew it with this rollout. I suspect the same thing is happening with all the other new teams that MLB is producing this year. I'm very annoyed that I can't stream the game despite the fact that I pay for it on cable. Amazing that I can stream the Orioles easier right now than the Nats.

mlb.tv has authentication available for a bunch of teams, but not the Nats. What a cluster.

Thank you for the information. We were just about to call Verizon to see what was going on.

Even though I have Xfinity ultimate I do not have 1261. This is beyond stupid.

I am watching on FIOS 579 without any issues. When I activated they said I was already a subscriber. It must have been ions ago when I first started following the team.

I don't really get the Nationals.tv bit. It jumps you straight to MLB.tv.

I see a Monumental screen on 578 but don’t know if I can watch the games. Would only be interested in Caps.

So basically for Xfinity it only works on the cable box and not the xfinity app. This whole thing is so weird.

Well now I'm pissed.  I've been with Verizon for over 10 years down here in VA Beach, and many more years in northern va before that, and they're telling me it's not included in my Custom Package.  I'll have to upgrade to the Most or the Ultimate.  Instead I get to watch the O's on MASN.

Glad someone gets to watch.

I "think" if your current tier includes Monumental then you get nationals.tv

Reports are that Verizon is having issues and intends to provide nationals.tv to anyone who gets MASN, but not until Monday. :(

Honestly, this is what I have come to expect from MLB...surprised any of us are able to watch.

I think MLB had an agenda by waiting for the last moment to announce free TV. They were hoping that some people would panic and subscribe at 99.00 rather than learn their access.
