i grew up watching GCW/WCW on the Superstation at 6:05 PM on Saturday nights, so what can I say? He introduced the world to the "Nature Boy", Wooooo!!

FWIW, AEW did a nice tribute to him last night, led by Tony Schiavone and Sting.

It really was a golden era, no doubt about that.

RANDOM HITTER-PITCHER MATCHUPS

Bobby Cox went 10 for 15 against Gary Peters.

Ted Williams went 10 for 18 against George Caster.

Trea Turner is 9 for 15 against Carlos Carrasco.

Dale Murphy went 10 for 19 against Tim Lollar.

Chipper Jones went 10 for 17 against Julian Tavarez.

Had no idea Dave Mason died last month until I saw something pop up that today would have been his birthday. Would have been 80. RIP. Great artist.

I wondered if it was sepsis, since it seemed to happen so fast. I barely survived sepsis a few years ago. One day I was perfectly healthy. The next day I thought I’d caught a flu bug. 2 days later I was in ER with the doctors wondering if I’d survive. Sepsis is insidious.

Glad you made it through. My sister died from sepsis almost two years ago, it is indeed insidious  :(
