Hate to be the person to start this thread for the year.

Bob Weir has died at 78. (I thought he was older than that.)

Well that sucks.  I think he stopped touring last year and people were wondering about his health.

In reading a bio he started with the Dead at 16.  So that’s probably why he seemed older.

That book was on the shelf in a beach house my family was staying in when I was 8 or so...even at that age I thought he was a crackpot.  I mean obviously it was the lizard people who made the Nazca Lines...aliens, pfffft

I lusted after her like a schoolboy seeing a Playboy bunny. The funniest human being ever. There was something about her that connected with my weird sense of humor
