sounds a little generic but I suppose this was before it became generic

Indeed - The Vibes were punk pioneers, but often get overlooked in favor of the 'Big Names' (Pistols, Damned et al...) Their 'Live At The Marquee April 77' album is one of the great live recordings, capturing the energy of early punk.

Love Billy Bragg.  Have seen him twice in small joints, puts on a great show.

As someone who routinely listens to Oomph!, Rammstein, Eisbrecher and Megaherz, I'm not sure what you mean by "the other". Oomph! and Rammstein are the two most prominent NDH names, with Oomph! considered pretty much the father of the genre.

Before founding Eisbrecher, Alexander Wesselsky was lead singer of Megaherz. Here is an older live video performance, which I wish was in better quality, of one of Megaherz's most well known songs, "Gott sein".

Before Neue Deutsche Härte, there was Neue Deutsche Welle (German New Wave). Here is a recent video of Eisbrecher performing with NDW legend 77-year old Joachim Witt.

Lapsed into UK'ism - outwith German speaking Europe Rammstein get most attention, followed by Eisbrecher. Don't hear many refer to Megaherz, let alone Oomph!...
