Given what the subject matter is, Springsteen’s new song is surprisingly catchy.

wrote it on Saturday. Just flowed. I forget if it was Hungry heart or Pink Cadillac that he says he wrote in 15 minutes.

The tribute to Ozzy at the Grammys on Sunday was fantastic: Post Malone and the Dirty Rats (Slash, Duff McKagen, Chad Smith, and Andrew Watt) performing War Pigs. Unfortunately the clip is owned by Paramount+ and isn't on YouTube.

To quote the great American philosopher, Lux Interior, "you got good taste"

I've seen he current iteration of The Skids play a couple of times in recent years...first at the Buzzcocks show at the Royal Albert Hall (Pete Shelley's wake, as it turned out) and then a couple years ago with The Damned and Stiff Little Fingers in Belfast. They still bring it.

I'm kind of meh on most of the rock acts. Would be good with Black Crows and Melissa Etheridge, liked INXS, too. Would think Shakira, Luther Vandross, and Wu Tang Clan would deserve it, too. I hate Phil Collins but think he's a shoe-in. I had a co-worker who was Lauren Hill's aunt.
