Palmquist and Williams need to be DFAed now.

So, I think the bullpen lines up this way:
Beeter - closer
Cruz - rhp set up
Dion - lhp set up
Ribalta - rhp fireman
Cosgrove - lhp mid innings
Yean - rhp mid innings
Palmquist - low lev lefty
Williams - long man
I think Palmquist becomes the long man and Williams is pitching himself into more meaningful roles.

It's too late, but this has a chance to be a good bullpen.

I guess Beeter gets the closer job by default? I want Cruz to grow into it, so I get not putting him in the fire right away.

Max Kranick survives the arrival of Dion without the Belmonts as Eddy Yean is optioned back out. Neither Kranick or Cosgrove have options, so this amounts to Yean being squeezed for a little while. I can see Kranick hanging on until Lord is back.

How do you send Yean down over Kranick, Palmquist or DFAing Mikolas or Williams?

for some reason, they want to see more from Kranick and Palmquist before releasing them

I mean, Yean has done nothing to force their hand. He doesnt miss bats. None of his pitches are above average. Hes just an arm you call up and send down. Not that the others are different, but they dont have options.

So next year we’re looking at:

Beeter
Cruz
Dion
Ribalta
Grable
Lord
Then 2 out of the cosgrove/poulin/cornelio/parker/whatever group?

Already looking a lot better than this year and that’s prior to any additions

No, but whenever the service time threshold has passed, he will probably be up

I'm comfortable with Cosgrove at least until grable is ready.
