Nats sign RHP Eddy Yean to a minor league contract. 24 year old who put up solid numbers at AAA for the Pirates last year. Originally part of the deal for Josh Bell in 2020.

Per Mike Rodriguez, Nats signing 3B Warming Bernabel to a minor league contract. MLFA from the Rockies system who played 40 games with them this year hitting .252 with a .698 OPS. Had declared for free agency after getting outrighted back to AAA. .808 OPS in AAA last year.

Hopefully he heats up next season.

O'Neill was at GW from ‘21-24 and was VCU’s hitting coach/recruiting coordinator in ‘25. Replaces Billy McMillon on that staff.

I think he lives in the F'burg area. He was in a group that I was in at a game I went to I think in '23 or '24.

Per Nussbaum, Ted Tom will manage Wilmington. Had been a D-1 coach for the last decade. Most recently assistant coach at Memphis.

Nationals released Peyton Glavine a few weeks ago (Tom's kid). Was a 37th round pick who pitched at A+ last year at age 26 after missing a lot of time with injuries.
