Pitchers are wearing pulse armbands this spring designed to monitor stress loads on their arms. Another new tech brought in by Toboni and crew.

Nice that Spicoli is giving some business to his past employer.  While nowhere near enough to overcome the lack of spending, a much better approach than Rizzo getting man crushes on hard throwing pitchers only for pretty much all of them to blow out their arms.

I see - fitting the players with electronic tags in case they try to escape from the Nationals... ;)

Then Abi took him out.  Would be nice to have him emerge from the pack as a legit 1b.

Could someone get DFA'd after their first ST appearance?

one of the social media accounts posted that Abi has looked great in the cage so far this spring, as had Orelvis.

If you are looking at the prospect rating threads, Yeremy Cabrera has gotten some very high ratings from a couple of data-driven evaluations at Fangraphs (ZiPS and OOPSY). With Abi and Orelvis performing, it makes me start to think that Toboni knew what he was doing in the Gore deal and in some of his non-roster pickups

Zuck says Willits will swap out for Abrams at some point today.

Young and Garcia are day to day with various soreness issues. Young got hit on the wrist in BP

I’m watching MLB TV.  No stream on Nats web site? Think I got an email. Let me look.

Your missing Alexa Datt.  She looks good.  At least one thing to look forward to on Nats broadcasts.

I went to the website on my phone and then clicked on the drop down upper left corner. Then clicked on watch.  When I clicked on the game it asked me to download the app.  Well I already have that and already watching on TV with a Roku.  So maybe you need the MLB app?

If you have a way to add the app to tv that should work.

Our pitcher didn’t cover first base. Same old Nats.
