Camerato mentioned that Irvin was throwing one  as well. I wonder if  the new coaches are pushing sweepers down onto the staff? Maybe it's an indication that his arm is really good so he can add a higher stress pitch?  He threw a lot of curves that got pounded last year, so a different breaking ball may help.

FWIW, statcast is calling it a cutter.

So you're sayin' they've already rounded into mid-season form?

Kiebert messed up a play.  Then the pitcher messed up a play. The Kiebert let one go by him. Turned it off for hockey.

Dylan dropped a routine fly. Beeter threw another one away.

But fundamentals

I can be a jerk but we are indeed a worse franchise than the Pirates now and it’s just another kick in the nads that we missed out on Konnor. Let me remind you that this front office just hit the rebuild button on an existing rebuild. I’m not even sure the Wizards have ever stooped that low. They at least tried to be good enough to make the play in and stay a little competitive before actually hitting a real reset. This ownership doesn’t care about you or I. It’s a clown organization and Seaver is likely going to be a bust. And if I didn’t care about this team I wouldn’t have taken the time to sign up for a message board to vent. That’s more than what 99 percent of our fanbase can say. Spare me with your holier than thou message board takes.

All we can do is laugh at this crappy ownership.

Speaking of which, anyone watching the snoozefest game that's on right now?

Seems like Wood, Lile, and House are doing a lot of travel for regulars. That's good, tbh.

Anyone else hoping they play a line up with Abrams at 2nd and Nunez at short?

Chappy with a 2R HR, having a good spring so far.  House drove in Nunez for the first run.

5-3 Phills.
