Top offense in total bases, runs, OPS, stolen bases, etc. I'm thinking that we'll get a couple pitchers back from injury and bring in a couple new guys and we are primed for a win streak. We've been stuck within a couple games of .500 for quite a while now.

Funny that there's been basically a lack of streakiness. Going back to the start of June, there's been a 4 game losing streak (last 3 with Philly, 1st with Os), and 2 series sweep losses (NYY, Marlins). The pain is than 9 of those 10  games have been at home. Winningwise, we've had 4 in a row (2 Mariners, 2 Royals at home), and a 3 gamer (@ Red Sox (2) and Pirates at home). 

Nats really got going taking 8 out of 11 from June 6 -16, but followed by losing 7 out of 9. IOW, 10-10.

You really can't put together a 5+ winstreak with the rotation and bullpen as bad as it is. The Red Sox streak happened because their bats finally started getting hot.

yep. as we've noted time and time again, this team would be contending for the best record in baseball with merely blowing 50% fewer leads.

Trevor Williams is coming back, seems like if there is one guy who'd be immune to Mathews and Doolittle's coaching, it would be Williams.

The team is emphasizing consistency in its coaching throughout the system. I would guess he's been working with their ideas, if not them, already.

I think the Phillies had a ten game losing streak. Only the Braves have been immune

That may not be such a positive. I guess it depends on who you ask.

Bad news is that I went to see Spiderman last Thursday and during a loud scene I felt my right ear “vibrate” and I haven’t been able to hear from it since.
