NIL plus the transfer portal is the end of Cinderella

Yep, though there were a couple of close ones.

Yep, though there were a couple of close ones.

The old formula was overlooked seniors who jelled over their careers. Now, even if they’re overlooked in high school, one they produce in college, they get poached. At least the disparity isn’t as bad as the women’s side

High Point, Gonzaga, and Villanova knocked out. HP made it interesting.

Tennessee, Texas Tech and St Johns are all favored today although lower seeds.

I’m trying to figure out the common thread between those three?

Not following closely yet. How many 1 & 2 seeds are out?

Edit: so far, no top 4 seed has lost. I'd figure a 6 over 3 or 5 over 4 would have happened.

Edit 2: f'ng AI didn't realize Gonzaga was a #3

My final four was Houston, St Johns, Michigan and Arizona with AZ winning it all.  Except my espn pool I picked UConn to make final four.  So that’s alive. Wait until next year.

Big ten with four teams and one from each of the other power conferences.  No mid majors. I don’t think any even made the Sweet Sixteen. It’s all about the $$$!

Damn. That reminded me of the Nats' Game 5 back in 2012 in terms of starting so well and ending in agony.

It made #1 on ESPN's Sports Center Top 10 Sunday night.  A relative played for Mary Washington's basketball team a long time ago. He was on cloud nine; first championship for them.
