Yu Darvish had TJ last week, probably ends his career given he's 39.

Don Mattingly is leaving the Blue Jays but says he has no plans to retire.

We could do a lot worse than Don Mattingly as our bench coach.

I'm also a Stammen fan and thought he was terrific playing with the Padres, but he has less experience managing Butera. If folks are all over the Butera hire . . .

I'm in the camp of these were both decent hires for the organizations but with some risk.

Wow. Can't recall the last time I saw a reliever become a manager.

He's under contract through 2028 actually.

Looking at Tucker and Carroll's numbers, especially Tuckers, I'd have to agree with you.  I think his second half did him more harm than good...

Tucker didn't have a great 2nd half, either. Dealing with an injury.

Thinking Mattingly wants back in as a Manager not a Coach.

The Rockies hire Paul DePodesta as POBO. Trying to harness some of the Browns mojo I guess

Seibu announces Tatsuya Imai will be posted. Around a 2 ERA over 8 years, with a fastball that hits 99 and a good slider. Nice changeup too. Similar to, maybe better than, Senga.

#20 on this list. If the price were close to the crowd source, he'd be quite reasonable, but Clemens suggests he's likely going for more (5years, $100 million, a price he wouldn't pay).
