Caps give up a 2 goal lead under 2:00...one on a crazy bounce, but still...

Just sad...almost as sad as Buccigras' announcing...

Thankfully, they won in the Shot Out and get the 2 points...

I eventually turned the sound off..."arf, arf, ark, Kane, history, arf, arf, arf, Kane, history, arf, arf..."

But hey, two points on the road, all good  :D

Stinkin' it up against the Canes tonight...

This needs to be Carlson's swan song...

EDIT:  I'll give them credit...came back to force OT...and win 4-3!

Tomorrow's game against Lawn Guyland is about as big of a regular season game as one can have in February

Went tonight. Caps dominated most of the game.

I wound up selling our tickets because my wife is recovering from illness and I now have whatever she had. Couldn't very well sit there in the stands blowing my nose and coughing the entire time.

hope she feels better.

400's were packed and rowdy, 100s had plenty of open seats.

I was reading that there is at least one section behind the penalty boxes I believe that is super high priced.  You get access to better food.  So maybe no one buying those.

yep. “The Vaults” not sure if it’s even open yet.

The Vaults are open, but the problem is that the people who buy those spend more time in their suites under the stands than they do in their seats, so the sections are always empty. Our usher told us that arena staff are not allowed to see the Vault suites unless they are specifically assigned to that space. I haven’t found any real pictures (as opposed to renderings) online, either.

Went tonight. Good crowd. Listless first. Good third but the Utah goalie was fantastic

That first period did have some boobirds before PLD scored right at the end.

Sux to lose him...kinda like losin' Schmidty.  Better get something of a haul for him, 'cause he wasn't much of a cap hit...

The Washington Capitals have acquired a second-round pick in the 2029 NHL Draft, a third-round pick in the 2027 NHL Draft (originally from San Jose) and goaltender Jesper Vikman from the Vegas Golden Knights for forward Nic Dowd.

Not exactly a haul...

His offensive stats have been down. You hope to get lucky with one of those picks.
