Sheffield Wednesday set an unwanted record, yesterday - defeat to their city rivals, Sheffield United, confirmed Wednesday's relegation to League One; the earliest confirmed relegation in English Football League history.

How the heck are Spirs just a point above relegation? When was the last time one of the big 6 clubs relegated? Would relegation kill them?

Just caught parts of the second half of that game but it was wild. Defense optional.

Spurs survive another week, Now a point above relegation, but three games to go. They play Leeds next, as West Ham plays Arsenal.

Meanwhile, Josh Harris's other football team, Crystal Palace, beat Shakthar Donetsk 3-1 in the first leg of their semi-final in the Conference League.

His other other team plays the Knicks tonight.  And then his other other other team is waiting for the NHL draft lottery.

All the London teams are a hot mess right now (including the one in first place).  It would be a shame if West Ham went down the year Millwall finally made it up.

Harris's other football team seems headed for the Europa Conference League final. Next game to be played Thursday in Ukraine.

They’re falling down the Premiere League table. 15th place now. And his basketball team was routed. He seems to have a penchant for owning mediocre teams.

Still can’t believe he thought he could get his own basketball arena in downtown Philly.  :hysterical:

Been a fair amount of coverage over here, this week, about how KC are looking forward to welcoming fans for the WC. Argentina with their South American fervor. Algeria with their exotic North African fans. The free-wheeling partying Dutch orange legions. Funnily enough, they don't mention the fourth teams fans. Wonder which country they represent?.... :hysterical:   ;)

I think we can be sure that at 20:00, on Friday night, everyone connected with the EPL will be rooting for Hull City... :hysterical:   ;)

Famous as the team of hooligans. Years ago, I was in London over a weekend, and asked a buddy to get us tickets to his team, Millwall. He said, "No, I don't want to expose you to the Den". He got us tickets to Tottenham, instead.

Incidentally, Josh Harris's Crystal Palace plays Shaktar Donetsk today at 2pm in the second leg of a Europa Conference League semi-final. Palace lost this weekend in the PL when the Palace manager held out several starters to give them a rest before this game. Palace won the first leg 3-1.

If we are being charitable, then it would be said that they are 'retro-support' - a throwback to the overtly racist, mysoginistic, homophobic, violent '70's. In reality they are the EPL's equivalent of the Anti-Christ... ;)

Josh Harris's Crystal Palace leading Shaktar Donetsk 2-1, 5-2 in aggregate. Surely will go to the final of the Europa Conference League.

Palce should have played in the Europa League because they won the FA Cup. Nottingham Forest complained that a sound-to-be-ex owner entirely owned another team in the competition. The guy had put his shares up for sale, in frustration because Haris and the majority owners always outvoted him. UEFA declafed that Palace had been part of a "multi-club organization", and put them in the Conference League. Woody Johnson, of the Jets, bought the shares, so maybe Palace is part of a Palace-Commanders-Jets "multi-team" organization?

Incidentally, Aston Villa leads Forest 2-0, and 2-1 in aggregate, in their semi-final. Forest desrves to lose.

AVL just scored a third goal at about 78 minutes. Nottingham Forest are finished. Did not deserve to be in the Europa League in the first place.

Correction, As I typed, AVL scored a fourth goal.
