Drafted by the Nationals in the 9th round of the 2025 draft out of Texas A&M (played 4 years at Penn prior)

He led the Quakers to back-to-back Ivy League Tournament titles in 2023 and 2024 and was named the Most Valuable Player of the ILT in the 2024 postseason. He was voted the unanimous Ivy League Player of the Year in 2024 after leading the team in batting average (.360), runs (64), hits (72), home runs (22), RBIs (56), total bases (151), slugging percentage (.755), hit-by-pitches (14), and on-base percentage (.465).

Already heading to A+ after posting .351 / .478 /.486 with a HR in just 37 ABs at Fredricksburg.

Already heading to A+ after posting .351 / .478 /.486 with a HR in just 37 ABs at Fredricksburg.
he's almost 24 so less surprising a uy with good results in the SEC with that much experience would dominate Low A.

Per Matt’s Bats, Henseler has retired already. Struggled badly in a few games at A+ last year.

25 now, with a UPenn degree and maybe an A&M masters. I will guess he has options. If he wants to stay in baseball, he might have a front office path. Heck, he's probably older than some of the Nats assistant GMs.

I know a guy who went to high school and college with Mark DeRosa, who claimed he could have made more money with his degree than he made playing.

Wasn't DeRosa the QB for some good Quakers teams? I wonder what it's like to be so talented and skilled at so many things.
If he wasn't coaching the USA in the wbc, I think he would have been a good candidate for the Nats manager or even gm
