Everyone thought manning was destined to be a great, Sark had to have known, but the kid is a Manning so he was stuck pretending he could be a winning qb in the SEC. If Arch’s last name was Smith, they would have brought in a starting qb in the portal, not flushed a season

Kinda like Dylan Crews...folks are still thinking he's gonna be great just because he was a #2 overall pick, even though his play on the field says otherwise.  If he'd been a 2nd round pick, he'd still be in the minors...

Indiana beats #3 Oregon. Is Indiana a top 5 team? Meanwhile Penn State loses to Northwestern at home.

Penn State got hit by a Nor'wester.

And just fired their coach.

That buyout is more than Ohio state spend on their roster to win a national championship

There was something fun about a horrifically expensive and mediocre A&M. If Penn State hires Cignetti, they’ll be the power program that I root for

You can't go into Nashville expecting to win. #10 LSU loses to Vanderbilt and frankly Vanderbilt looked like the better coached, physically tougher team all game long.

Vandy was favored. Chip Kelly is an anchor

Anchor as in boat anchor or as in relay anchor?

Never seen this before. UVA kicked off after a field goal. #9 for Washington State signaled fair catch. But a different player caught it and started running it back. Play blown dead. Ball placed on the WSU 1. Three plays later, UVA scored the game-winning safety.

Napier fired at Florida:
https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/46649076/florida-fires-coach-billy-napier-3-4-start-2025

He was brought in to replace a guy who was a good game day coach but couldn't recruit and was hailed as a recruitment savant. He proceeded to not recruit well at Florida while being a horrible game day coach.

Only question is, is Florida State also going to fire their coach today?

Just complete humiliation for Brian Kelly. He goes to LSU because he feels he's reached a ceiling at Notre Dame, can't win at LSU, and then his successor takes ND to the national championship game. At least he gets $54 million.

College football is a joke.  Only two percent of college coaches could last more than 2 years in the NFL

Congrats to Indiana for locking up Curt Cignetti for life so they don't have to worry about him leaving amid speculation for every opening....unless he figures a way to buy out his contract. :)
