Patriots rookie place kicker missed his first two PATs yesterday. They kept him instead of Romo, the ATL PK who kicked 5 field goals last night.

Eagles beat Tampa 31-25.  Beat Pittsburgh by the same score on same date in 1952.

Former NFL QB Mark Sanchez is hospitalized in stable condition after being stabbed during a robbery early this morning in Indianapolis. He's in town to call tomorrow's Colts game.

This Sanchez story is absolutely bonkers.

Either drugs or a disorder...when the truck driver said Sanchez got an astonished, or something like that, look on his face...it tells me that he was not playing with a full deck when he did this...

Quite the play for Lawrence and the Jaguars last night. The Chiefs appear to be cooked.

this year is going to take a long time to shake out. Injuries probably will have a bigger impact than usual because I don't think there's a team that is so superior that it can handle not just a franchise qb injury but even a major lineman or top tier skill guy getting hurt without impacting odds.

Stole this:

If Sanchez is found guilty, he could be sentenced to 5 more years as the J E T S quarterback...

apparently, when Sanchez went after  the driver, he bounced of the guy's butt and dropped his knife, which the other guy picked up to counter Sanchez's offense.

I am not sure who is actually good or if anyone is actually good. Every team has a really bad game on their resume. If I had to put my flag down, I would probably say the Lions are the best right now.

It's less important to be good now than it is to make the tournament  and be healthy. A bunch of teams could do it.

A Lions-Bills SB would be awesome, especially given that neither of them have won before.

Sounds like an Eighth Amendment violation.
