I had to triple check that original Tweet. I can't believe that they fired them during the season. Very happy they are gone but I think that the World Series earned them the respect of letting them go in October.

Rizzo was one of the best GMs in baseball for a while, I genuinely believe that. Time comes for us all though.

Rizzo was good when he didn't have to rely on players he developed, which he proved over and over he wasn't capable of doing. When he just had to sign major leaguers to plug holes he was great.

Time for a much needed change. Thanks for 2019!

It is a crap draft. Franchise altering is a bit dramatic.

But definitely an important draft in the drafting of a combined 20 players in a draft can make a huge impact.

I understand argument of letting Rizzo see our season, not so much Martinez
