Hopefully Buffalo makes mince meat out of them.  Go Sabres.

The Canes turning the Flyers into roadkill is better than antidepressants.

It's impossible to root for either team in the PA series...I just hope whoever advances get's swept in the second round by whomever they face...

That'll do Canes...That'll do...

Could be first year that the best teams in the East and West meet.  Not sure when the last time that happened. I could live with either Carolina or Buffalo winning the Cup.

Honestly, there are a lot of good outcomes that could happen.

Best case scenario would be Buffalo winning it. Those poor fans deserve to finally reach the promised land in a major sport, especially after having to sit around and watch Sean McDermott pull a Norv Turner on their franchise for however many years.

Just please, no Vegas. For the love of all that is holy, go freak off already. And move to Quebec, while you're at it.

Vegas clinching last night means the Caps will have the 16th and 18th picks in the first round of the draft. The latter pick comes from the Ducks in the Carlson trade. Had they advanced, it would have been either 29th (if they lost in the third round), 31st (if they lost in the Cup Finals), or 32d (if they won the Cup). Couldn't have been 30th because their regular-season record was worse than all the other teams still competing.

I don't like to see Vegas advance, but at the same time, I'm happy to see the Caps get the higher pick.

The Canes have 2 Cups in the last 20 years, freak 'em.  Plus any Hutson family rivalry can only benefit the Caps, so Geaux Habs!

Ha...I have no visibility into Hutson family dynamics, but I would imagine that if Lane showed up at the next family gathering with the Stanley Cup, Cole would want to match that  :P
