Those guys would get obliterated by any AA team

The Bananas are going to be worth more than some MLB teams soon.
No way? LolWhat's their market value now? Anyone knows?
In 1957, the Nats won 55 games and finished dead last. We did not notice much because Roy Sievers led the league in homers, with 42. https://www.baseball-reference.com/teams/WSH/1957.shtmlEvery time Dan and Frannie talk about Jomes Wood's hitting, I'm reminded of Roy and that season.
Interesting. If you remember the '22 team there was nothing pre-trade Soto could do to offset a rotation with a 6 ERA. Nothing Wood can do about a bullpen with a 6 ERA, nor all the baserunning blunders and bad defense.
$1 billion vs. the Rays going now for $1.7 billion, and that's only going to increase.I love Jesse Cole's "fan first" philosophy. Too many MLB owners like John Fisher and Mark Lerner who are "fans last" and focus on politics or pennies, not fan experience.
That's it. So, shall we just count Wood's homers? That's what we did, sadly.
about $1 billion as of April (that's for the whole organization which now has four teams). The Bananas are mostly playing in major league baseball and NFL stadiums, the other teams play minor league venues.
MLB could definitely learn a thing or two from the Bananas.
Will be interesting to see what happens after the '26 season with the new CBA. Don't expect they'll start dancing to YMCA before ABs, but definitely putting pressure on owners who see the full stadiums, and pay close attention to franchise values.
