I like Bryzy.   Really good stuff.   He needs to be ahead of Ferrer

Feels like the kind of night where the Nats offense will do nothing. Soriano has been dominant lately.

Great job with the reverse jinx RDG.   :P

5's a 3rd baseman's number but CJ has it, so 55 is the next best thing.

With the :w: posted, we honor the memory of our friend Old Chelsea with the traditional post that tracks the Nats wins to date, in Anglophile style.

THE RACING PRECEDENTS - Comparative dates on which the Nationals notched their 34th win, each season:

2017 - 2nd June (53rd match of season)
2016 - 5th June (57th match)
2018 - 5th June (59th match)
2012 - 9th June (57th match)
2005 - 9th June (60th match)
2014 - 10th June (63rd match)
2013 - 15th June (67th match)
2024 - 15th June (70th match)
2015 - 16th June (65th match)
2011 - 17th June (70th match)
2019 - 19th June (72nd match)
2021 - 22nd June (70th match)
2025 - 27th June (82nd match)
2010 - 29th June (78th match)
2006 - 1st July (82nd match)
2008 - 1st July (85th match)
2023 - 2nd July (83rd match)
2007 - 4th July (84th match)
2022 - 26th July (99th match)
2009 - 3rd August (106th match)
---
2020 - finished 26-34

Trailing Team 2024's pace as they were still being talked about as fringe contenders at a near .500 pace. Win 35 would be as close as they would get to .500 for the rest of the season. However, the current Nats are still ahead of Team 2023, which finished with an identical record as Team 2024. right on Team 2006's per game pace.
