If they lose this, I'm expecting an emailed apology to everyone who has ever attended a game.

Lord needs to give us 2.  Don’t want to see Ferrer or Salazar ever pitch again

That frustration pirouette by Matsui was priceless

Fun game.   Offense is coming together.   Throw Salazar in the ninth so we don’t have to see him for a week

He'd be more traceable if the NL didn't have the DH as a pinch hitter.

Lord is the best pitching prospect in years.  He’s also an 18th rounder, Rizzo might want to reconsider his man crushes.

Just let him finish. What do we have to lose at this point?

Finnegan only threw three pitches. He will be fine.  We don’t lead many games in the 9th.  May be a while before it happens again.

had not thrown in a while (6/19). I'm sure they were looking for an excuse to get him into a game. I think Thursday is an off day, so it's no problem for him to appear at least once more in San Diego. If we have 9th or extra inning save situations in the next two games, it's a wonderful problem.

Yes let someone else see what he can do if that by chance happens.
