I don't know why I keep watching this crap
To get fake news and a bogus history lesson.  This was the game where Dan Kolko, who isn't aging well, rewrote history by perpetuating the myth that Jayson Werth ("J-Dub") and other former players of his ilk contributed to the 2019 World Series championship.  Nothing could be further from the truth.  If pressed I'd give Alex Chappell credit for that championship over J-Dub.

Is Natnonals a typo, or a meme I'm missing?
typo. Worked too fast to proof or do any detail on the pitchers. Jinx-fairy is laughing at me for causing the loss.

I hate seeing this lineup, even with Chappy, who should not be up over House.
Por que no los dos?

true but the Boston broke the jinx riding Randy Johnson Pedro and Shilling. QB's also need great protection recievers and running backs. They are Both TEAM sports
sort of fixed except typos. Don't forget DLowe, who was the winning pitchers in all 3 post-season series-clinching games. Line up was pretty good, too. I count 4 HoF-quality guys on that team, including Schilling (but for being a jerk) and Manny (but for the PEDs). Add in 2 HoF managers, one in the dugout and one stealing second off Rivera.  But I digress.
