If Nats starting pitchers continue to struggle in the 1st inning, They can't be used in pressure relief so they can never be anymore than an inning eating mop up pitchers in relief

Franny is in rare form, even for him, praising Hassell on his error

Need CJ to get going, OPS has dropped from .942 on May 18 to .798 today.   Hasn't homered since then.

That is not what Darnell Coles teaches.

We sure are a fickle group. Quick to jump an most all players after singing praises in earlier games. Then there's Bell. He is treated like a yo-yo. Hope they don't read this board. RH3 was the almighty a few games back... Look at past games and see whats been written . Abrams is in the dumper now too.

Baseball is a marathon not a sprint. Lets give some of these guys a break. To temper that, don't hold back on boneheaded baserunning and mistakes either, They deserve to be called out for lack of hustle and stupid plays

Thought they made an interesting point about the Rangers offense collapsing over the last two years in spite of a similar lineup.  Happened to Baltimore as well this season.

This place is the ultimate for small sample size judgements...guys can go from hero to goat with a single pitch...

OTOH, there are those of us who are either fanbois or haters regardless...

Slider completely fooled him.  I really thought he'd get back to .700 OPS this year, but he's back to constantly waving at bad pitches.

he has the 5th best Ba of todays Nat starters, Right in the middle. I think he is a wild streaky hitter. will swing at anything and gets lucky many times. Ruiz does not equal bat control

I think their might also be a wee bit of sarcasm from time to time. ;)
