In move / counter move, Cubs are using an opener to deal with CJ, Wood, and Lowe 1st time through the order. Davey's counter move is play Rosario and hit him 2nd, put the two switch hitters 5 & 6, and play Call in right. Garcia and Hassell dropped to 8th & 9th on the expectation the Pomeranz will be lifted before the bottom of the order.

Commish said he has the votes to start ABS next season. Good news or another example that takes a game played by humans, umped by humans, managed by humans being controlled by computers? Also will alot of catchers who made their careers hung by being specialized in framing pitches be out of work next season? Probably something for hot stove but Manford pontificated again.

Cubs must be upset about last nights game. Irvin gets the brunt of that game.

Doesn’t seem like we’ve had a comeback win in a while. We’re due.

Franny likes what Rosario did when he made the error

Abrams lobbed that ball to 2nd. Don't like that play by him.

Can't figure Abrams out. Lackadaisical in last play then over aggressive on the base bath right after. Is his head always in the game?

Come has to start now, or the Cubs will scoot too far away. What's wrong with Jake?

Would be nice if we had a real 3B somewhere to insert in this lineup.   A righty 3B with a great glove, rocket arm, and all world power.   Would be nice if we had that guy in the system
