5.2 for Soroka.

Nice hustle by Lord for the 3rd out.

Still a 5 run lead.

8-3, top of 7th

Soroka had a 7 run lead. Couldn't get through 85 pitches
when he gets near 80, he's been blowing up.

Rochester improves to 12-31 with a win over Durham.  Daylen Lile 2 for 5- OPS now .969, Brady House 0 for 3 with a walk - OPS now .841.

Nats should still look for another reliever. Brzykcy has issues, and Lord looks better as a starter.

Lopez is not one of the more trusted guys. Or shouldn't be. Henry is better in higher lev. But with a 5 run lead, Lopez should be able to maintain the lead.

This team should try and get a deal done with Abrams.

Sign Abrams absolutely, but after last years late season gambling fiasco where he was suspended at the end. Maybe have a veteran on the road to teach him the dangers. Then again MLB is in bed with Gambling sites. Fans can gamble at Nats Park. But getting caught in a casino at 4am with a noon game looming is a cause for possible concern. He is playing great for a contract year. Hope the fire inside him keeps burning after he gets the serious money due him.

With all of the errors, across the series, the Orioles are the gift that keeps on giving. Winning is good, but we'll face much sterner tests than this. At least our 2025 Nationals showed that they can take advantage of a situation, when offered... ;)

And I never knew our 2025 Nationals were such devotees of Swedish Existential Cinema - 'and that's The Seventh Steal, for the Nationals...'   :D   ;)
