I say let Livan go the 8th and have someone in the pen ready in case he gets in trouble then have Chad pitch the 9th

We need more runs.  We need to make the bottom of the ninth a non-issue.

happy?

I sit Livan now with only a three run lead.  It's too easy to get into trouble and lose the lead.

..well with a four run lead, I mean!!! :P

I say bring Chief in for the 9th.  I don't think Livo's got it in him for 9, and even with a 6-2 lead this game is just too dang important to mess around.

If we score more runs in the 9th, then send Livo back on.

Chief? no.

bring in  Stanton or Majewski.  if either of them gets in trouble, then bring in Chief.

Okay, Livan's gotten us into the 9th with no damage.

Actually, I think it's probably a reasonable idea to do what Frank normally does - send him out to see if he can't get three up, three down, but if he gives up a baserunner then bring in the Chief.

Announcers just said that it is a save situation.  If we score again it won't be.

edit: Okay, Livo's out.  Chief's coming in!

The lead isn't big enough to "let them get in trouble", espeically in this ballpark.

Nah.  He really only gets pissed these days when he pitches badly.
