I enjoyed his candor if nothing else. He answered Bob's question about why Nats players typically didn't stick around longer than they did, couldn't understand why CJ attempted to steal 3rd, and a few other nuggets.
He had his ups and downs and could frustrate the crap out of me with his swing for the fences at-bats. I did find him to be very personable with fans during his playing days - the complete antithesis of Employee #11.
He was really kind of the stereotypical jock...not much between the ears. But opposed to many baseball players, he was quite athletic...
