So ... it looks like Call gets in vs a starting RHP. Davey finding a way to get his best bench bat in and rest a guy who is slumping. Prediction... unless Lowe has 2 Good games today and Tuesday, he gets Wednesday off, again Wood dhs, and Bell plays 1st.

Since 5/18, 5 hottest hitters are Crews, Wood, Garcia, Call, and Tena. Some thunder at the bottom of the order

Canning's only rough start this year was on 4/11 vs Athletics (4 ER in 5.1 IP). Had 2 nice recent starts (11 IP, 2-0, 10 H, 2 ER, 3 BB, 13K).

Williams has gotten results but has had guys on his last 2 starts (10 IP, 0-1, 9 H, 2 ER, 1HR, 4 BB, 10K)

No MLB TV for me, so it's Charlie and Dave.

Williams might make a good two or three inning relief pitcher.

Torres had been pretty good balls and strikes until he blew the called strike on LGJr. Cost us bases loaded no outs.

Super costly. Bases loaded no outs, runner scores on the Lowe grounder.

Put Williams in the pen. Keep Lord in the rotation.

Williams sucks.   There was absolutely no reason to re-sign him

Eh, it was down 3 at the start of the 6th and the pitch count was low. They don't get a day off until 5/8. Have to try to save the bullpen.

Just tuned in. Yikes. Still, no complaints if we split with the Mets

Put Williams in the pen. Keep Lord in the rotation.
Williams allowed 1 ER in each of his last two starts. Lord has a 4.70 ERA in his last 4 starts with opponents hitting .310 off of him.

I think the 3 batter rule for relievers made it too easy for dimwits like dave...they don't have to think too much...

BTW...not to beat the proverbial dead horse...but the pitch timer, that reliever rule, and the ghost runner deal still suck...

It's the DH that make it easier for dimwit managers.
