Young with a game off. Ruiz resting. Lefty Stack 1-4 at the top of the Nats lineup.

Starling Marte starting at DH, Alvarez on the bench.

Megill is mainly Fastball (45%), Sinker (22%) and Slider (24%). Sinker and 4 seam are in the 94-95 range, slider 84. Also throws a change and a curve around 88 and 81.
Parker is fastball about 1/2 of the time, with a pretty even mix of sinkers, sliders, and curves. Parker's fastball is around 93, slider and sinker around 85, and curve 81.

Parker throws more balls in the strike zone (55% vs 49%) and a higher % of those strikes draw swings (72% vs 60.5%). They draw comparable % of swings outside the strike zone (around 29%) but Megill gets a little more contact out of the strike zone (60% vs 52.5%).

Megill has not gone longer than 5.1 IP then turns it over to a strong bullpen.
Parker has not gone less than 6 IP and went 8 IP his last start. As for the bullpen, there's a reason we say "duck and cover" in the bullpen thread.

I don't understand why Davey would put four lefties at the top of the order. Why not blend L-R-L-R-L? Didn't he do that before? In, say 2019? Call is solid and Crews is improving.

Some stat geek is telling him he'll have more success batting straight lefties than alternating.

I think it is a function of his talent. Where do you slot in Call or Crews in that first 4. I'm not displacing Wood out of #2. Maybe Crews should get a shot at #3 at this point rather than Garcia? Call if you think it would mess with Crews's head?

We’re going to need to make a move after this. The bullpen will be smoked.

Let's get 5 from Parker and save the bullpen a bit.

Oh, with the Crews solo, it's 1-6.

Another nice showing on defense for Tena with that double play.

So why can't TYena be the regular 3B?

OPS up to .665, better than last year's .641

because of plays like the error in the 1st that let the 4 run score
