this line up is sort of a reprise of the awful line up from last Thursday in Pittsburgh. Basically, it's Lipscomb instead of LGJr, with a Rosario sliding to 2nd.

Years from now, the story will be told how Dylan Crews's Rookie of the Year campaign started in a snow day in Denver. Single, advance on a walk, steal, score on the bad throw.

The Rockies look like the Bad News Bears on defense.  Or the 1962 Mets.

it was interesting to hear how Gore adjusted his curve for Colorado. He would start it lower because it had less break. The shift actually made it look easier to hit.

At least Eddie had one very good year under the tutelage of Ted Williams.

Are bob and Franny right about the hbp rule? Looked like his heel was still in the box when his toes were hit behind the plate

Not sure what they said but Charlie and Dave were saying Veen would have been out if he had actually bunted the ball fair.

I think Irvin stays in, but we need more than a 1-run lead.

Just got home. How did the Nats score three runs without an RBI?
