Looks like the Nats will send 27 men to the plate through nine innings. freaking pathetic.

Is our team worse than the Marlins and Pirates?

I missed the pitch. Did it seem intentional?

Mini Me will still own the team, so you'll only get people like Rizzo and Davey who no other team would hire, and rental players no one else would recruit

But at least the kool aid drinking about "rebuilds" and "reboots" is finished.  And unlike other low spending teams like the Rays, this one has no idea what's it's doing on top of the unwillingness to invest in the org.

No, but he had hit a guy just before, so the umpirres might have warned him. The pitch was squarely at McCuthen's head, barely missing the helmet as McCutchen ducked.

And then Lopez went nuts. Benches cleared, Lopez finally walked to the dugout, and then came charging back. Lopez is the Muts reliever who went crazy last year afyer he disagreed with a swing call by the 3B umpire. Threw his hat down and threw his glove into the stands. Was DFA'd then. No reason to keep him.
