Bailey Falter is awful.  Should be able to get runs.

Why in the hell is Ruiz in the starting lineup for the 17th time in 18 games. If you want to keep his bat in the lineup let him DH. Bell at this point is worthless. In 57 AB’s he has 8 hits. One triple and 2 HR’s. He is batting .140 with an OBP of .269 and a SLG .281 for a whopping OPS of .549. What is wrong with davey?

Riley Adams ranks 12th on the team in WAR, despite having 5 PAs and a WAR of 0.0, because apparently not actually playing gives you more value than playing the way too many of his teammates are.

Caught stealing puts the Nats on top of the league for caught stealings per game, as they were last year

Parker has been such a nice unexpected find. Great start to the game.

He's always fun to watch with that Clayton Kershaw motion

Game day says Lowe got 4 strikes there. Did they lose track of the count or is Gameday wrong?

Exhale, but that was not fun to watch.

Thought Franny might say that's the way you want to pop out to the catcher

37 pitches through 3. Naturally the Nats have decided to make another bad starter look like a top-of-the-rotation guy.

So, what to expect? Parker will pitch a gem. The Nats' offense will... um... Falter. And it will come down to bullpens? So might as well post the L and go to sleep.

Time to put Bell out to pasture.   Young has a .410 OBP but is on the bench

I had not picked up that Lowe was having problems with lefties. He's supposed to be neutral

Wasn't Davis the #1 pick when he came out? Or just a high 1st rounder?
