Oh man, I read this morning that he had survived :( Nelson Cruz's sister Nelsy died as well.

In addition to Octavio Dotel, former Nat Tony Blanco was killed. Played 56 games with the Nats in 2005

In addition to Octavio Dotel, former Nat Tony Blanco was killed. Played 56 games with the Nats in 2005

If you want to feel old, his son is in the Pittsburgh system.

Sad news... I remember him being very good from the early 2000's with the Astros and of course, from the 2011 WS. RiP.
