Soriano was here in like 2016 so they definitely owned it.
Who was Corbin blocking?
Rutledge. :)

he'll go unclaimed and back to Rochester on an outright assignment. He got a game in the majors and it was win. That's more than Moonlight Graham.

Zuck says Stubbs has been optioned back to AAA, not DFA'd. Millas was moved to the 60 day IL to clear a spot.

i think if he were DFA'd and outrighted, they may not be allowed to do it again.

Not quite a roster move, but Scouting Director Danny Haas is leaving to return to the Orioles. Rizzo brought him in before the 2024 season.

Writing on the wall. Honestly, if we have success with the 2024 and 2025 drafts, a lot of that credit should go to Haas and Ciolek for revamping the process

I'm probably over reading this, but that makes me think DeBartolo may not be the permanent guy. My assumption would be, should he be staying, that that 23-24 offseason shakeup part of the front office would be elevated.

I think Haas got a chance to leave a dysfunctional organization and he took it. Think about it. If you have desires on being a GM, how does joining the current iteration of the Nationals help you in this?

You won't get money for players. And ownership won't give you money for player development

they spend on development.

B-more's issue is they won't spend on starting pitching.  It's often wasted money, and Elias  just doesn't don't anyway.

Rutschman didn't have a good year, but Basallo is a nice backfill

Who spent 21 million on player development labs. With new ownership, Baltimore is a desirable place

Ribalta back to AAA so it looks like 6 starters for now.
